The direct-to-garment technique lays water-based ink straight into 100% cotton. No plastic layer on top, so the image moves with the fabric and photographs keep their detail. Dark garments take a white base under the image first, which is why a black piece takes two passes.

What can I put on a piece?

A photo of your dog, your kid's drawing, a sketch, or a few words. Upload the picture or type the words on the create page, and see it on the garment before you order.

Is the image a layer on top of the fabric?

No. The direct-to-garment technique lays water-based ink straight into the cotton, with no plastic layer on top, so the image moves with the fabric.

Which garments and colours are there?

A 100% cotton tee, crewneck sweatshirt or hoodie. The pieces in the shop come in black or bone; when you make your own, pick black, bone or one of fifteen more colours. On the tee and the crewneck your image is set large on the chest; on the hoodie it is set on the chest as a graphic.

What does it cost?

From $29.99 for the tee, from $90.99 for the crewneck and from $110.99 for the hoodie. Every price is shown live before you approve, and shipping is added at checkout.

How long will it take?

About a minute for the design, and 20 to 24 days door to door for the piece. For delivery by 25 December, order by 1 December.

Can I return it?

Each piece is made for you from the design you approved, so it is not returnable. The preview is free: change it and draw it again as often as you like before you approve.

How do I wash it?

Cold and inside out, no bleach, dry low or hang, and do not iron the image.
